A Faith Lesson On the Sea of Galilee

Preacher:
Passage: Matt 14:22-32

The Son of Man had the capacity to turn anything he wanted into bread to feed his stomach at any time. Also because he had thousands of angels at his beck and call he could have called on them for anything, for zapping his enemies, for going hang gliding of the Himalayas without a hang glider or for turning stones into bread or bread into steak. But Jesus being the living Word could never do anything that went against his nature or went against some divine purpose. So when you see Jesus actually doing the big spectacular miracles you can be sure that He was trying to communicate a very important message that he could not communicate otherwise. Today I want us to look at Jesus’ spectacular act when he decided to take a very unusual walk on the surface of the Sea of Galilee.
